Our Research & Policy Coordinator Dr. Yasmine Nahlawi participated in an event on 25 October co-hosted by the International Rescue Committee and RUSI in London titled 'What Next for Syria?'.
Yasmine's talk focused on mechanisms that exist under international law which could have been (and still can be) employed to induce compliance by the Assad regime with its international obligations, with reference to specific policy demands advanced by Syrian civil society in the UK.
