RR tells the Guardian: We hope that latest arrest on Syrian-Turkish border will not affect humanitarian work in Syria

On family of 9 arrested on Syria-Turkish border: RR told The Guardian: โ€œWe do not recommend that people travel to Syria given the increasing complexity of the conflict. With that said, we hope that this incident will not place undue scrutiny upon humanitarian aid work carried out in Syria.โ€

Dr. Abass Khan, We Will Never Forget You

A memorial event was held on Friday 17 January at the British Muslim heritage Centre in Manchester. The event was organised by Rethink Rebuild Society, the umbrella of the Syrian community of Manchester, and sponsored by Amnesty International UK.

Many prominent guests were there to commemorate Dr. Abbas Khan and the other victims of Syria's prisons.
