We participated in Journeys Festival Internationa'sl Weekender Fair on 14 October 2017. In this Festival, we had a stall for Rethink Rebuild Society in which artist Abdullah Anezi held a calligraphy workshop and wrote people's names for them in Arabic. We also had information on female detainees in Syria with letters for people to sign to their MPs.
As part of Journeys Festival International, Manchester Museum hosted our exhibition 'Silenced Voices: Syrian Women in Assad's Prisons' on 7 October. We held this exhibition in collaboration with Amnesty International's Manchester group and used it as a platform to educate people about the plight facing Syrian women in Assad regime prisons.
