On 24 February, our Advocacy and Policy Coordinator gave a presentation on Syria and the responsibility to protect to Juris North, an academic discussion group based in Manchester Metropolitan University. The presentation was attended by academics from both MMU and Manchester University and was followed by a discussion of some of the legal dimensions of the international community's responsibility towards Syria as well as the legality of the Russian intervention.
