The launch of Community Development project for the Syrians in Liverpool region

On Tuesday 2nd May 2017, in collaboration with Refugee Action, Rethink Rebuild Society launched a community development project for the new families who arrived recently in the Liverpool region.
This project will focus on four areas: St Helens, Wirral, Halton and the city of Liverpool. The aim of this project is to bring together the new families alongside Syrian refugees and asylum seekers already in the UK, and to support them to engage with the host community in their region, in order to break down barriers and form new links between the communities.
A range of workshops and community events will take place across the year-long project.
